Azienda Agricola RiDaRoca - San Damiano d'Asti

We have neglected this local producer of some good Barberas and also some good Nebbiolos.  We recently tasted a bottle of the 2007 RiDaRoca Nebbiolo Roero.  The owner of the cantina had given the bottle to us after we purchased some of his Barbera with the admonition that the wine was very closed and we should wait some time before opening.  Our patience finally ran out and we opened the bottle on the 23rd of June 2014.  It is a very good wine, ready to drink.  If you have it in your cellar, now is the time to open and enjoy it.  Drink with food.
